HOUSTON — The Houston Texans have a chance to be well-represented at the 2024 Pro Bowl Games.

Offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil was picked as a starter. He'll be making his fourth Pro Bowl appearance.

Rookie quarterback C.J. Stroud was named as a second alternate thanks to his record-breaking rookie season in the NFL. He broke several rookie records and also led the Texans to their first winning season since 2019. He won two AFC Rookie of the Month awards and one AFC Player of the Month award. Stroud became the youngest player to throw for at least 450 yards in the NFL. He was 22 years and 33 days old when he did it against the Buccaneers on Nov. 5.

Rookie defensive end Will Anderson Jr. was named a first alternate. Anderson, along with his 7 sacks, has impressed during his rookie campaign.

Defensive end Jonathan Greenard was elected as a fifth alternate for the Pro Bowl Games. He recorded 12.5 sacks through the first 17 games of the season, which was the 10th most in the NFL.

Cornerback Derek Stingley Jr. was named a first alternate for the Pro Bowl Games this season. Through 16 games, he recorded 5 interceptions -- a career-high for the second-year player out of LSU and fourth-most in the NFL. He was also named the Week 13 AFC Defensive Player of the Week for his performance against the Denver Broncos.

Wide receiver Nico Collins was named a fourth alternate for the Pro Bowl Games. Through Week 17, Collins recorded 71 catches for 1,102 yards and 7 touchdowns. He, Andre Johnson, DeAndre Hopkins and Brandin Cooks are the only players in Texans history to post a 1,000-yard season.

Fullback Andrew Beck was named a second alternate for the Pro Bowl Games. Through Week 17, he had played in 14 games and recorded one rushing touchdown, one receiving touchdown and one kick return touchdown. He's the only player in the NFL to do that.
