DENVER – Former Houston Cougars star Simon Fletcher was inducted into the Broncos Ring of Fame during the Texans-Broncos game on Monday night.
Fletcher played his entire NFL career with the Broncos from 1985-1995.
The defensive end was a force for the Broncos, racking up 97.5 sacks in his 11 seasons which is still a Denver. Fletcher totaled 828 tackles and forced 20 fumbles in his career.
The Bay City, Texas native played 3 seasons for the Houston Cougars before being drafted by the Broncos in 1985.
Fletcher joined kicker Jason Elam and safety John Lynch who were also inducted into the Ring of Fame.
