HOUSTON — Check out this time-lapse video showing the NRG Stadium floor changing from rodeo dirt to hardwood for the NCAA Men's Final Four.
Between March 19 and April 1, NRG Park will undergo an impressive transformation as everything related to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo is peeled away to make room for the NCAA Men’s Final Four.
This year, NRG will have a brand-new court for the best teams in college basketball to battle it out for the championship. Workers laid down 381 floor panels, each weighing 160 pounds. Court assembly alone took about four hours.
