Airman First Class Leah Fox belts out national anthem before World Series Game 2

She joined the Air Force in January of this year.

HOUSTON — Tonight, we heard another amazing performance of our national anthem.  USAF Airman First Class Leah Fox belted out the Star Spangled Banner before Game 2 of the World Series between the Washington Nationals and Houston Astros.

Fox joined the Air Force in January of 2019 and was assigned to the Band of the West at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas.  Before the Air Force, she was a singer in New York City.

She received a Bachelor of Arts at Point Park University. She’s received the National Defense Service Medal and Global War on Terrorism Service Medial.

Fox is from Erie, Pennsylvania.
