HOUSTON - Houston Astros Mascot Orbit has come through for those of us fans wishing to be away from work and at the game Monday afternoon.
The beloved green alien posted a photo to Twitter of a letter addressed to "The World's Greatest Boss."
The letter comes straight from "the desk of Orbit" and is an excuse for Houstonians to hand over to their bosses in an attempt to get out of work in order to watch the Astros game.
The letter is written in the Comic Sans font (of course) and has Orbit's signature at the bottom, under which is typed #HustleTown Coordinator.
The letter asks for employees to be excused from work because of the Astros' postseason game against the Kansas City Royals and says, "it's not like anyone is going to be getting any work done anyways..."
Orbit also mentions in the letter, bosses deserve to be off this afternoon as well. The letter concludes with, "Do the right thing here."
Over 600 people retweeted the photo of the letter. Orbit captioned the photo: "As if you really needed an excuse to ditch work and come to the game tomorrow, I've got you covered! #HustleTown"
The fuzzy mascot also tweeted out a modified version of the letter for students where he crossed out "boss" and wrote in "teacher."
