How much are Astros vs. Rangers ALCS tickets?

We found some ticket listings going for thousands of dollars.

HOUSTON — If you're planning on watching the Houston Astros take on the Texas Rangers in the ALCS, it might cost you a pretty penny.

For Game 1 at Minute Maid Park, there were no available tickets left through the official website. You'll still be able to pick up tickets on SeatGeek, though. The cheapest tickets we could find were general admission standing-room-only tickets going for $150. On the other end of the spectrum, you could sit right behind the Astros' dugout for north of $3,500.

Game 2, also at the Juicebox, still had some standing-room-only tickets available for direct purchase going for $129 as of when this was posted. On SeatGeek, standing-room-only tickets started at $125 but quickly shot up to around $146. The most expensive tickets we could find were for $2,668, also behind the Astros' dugout.

Up in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, single-game tickets have yet to go on sale for games 3 and 4 (and 5, if necessary).

Coming back to Houston for possible games 6 and 7, you won't be able to get tickets directly from the team's website. We found some seats going for as low as $170 for both Game 6 and Game 7. The most expensive ticket price we found for those games was $4,549 behind the Astros' dugout.

As of Thursday, the secondary-market ticket prices for Astros' ALCS home games average out to $631, according to TicketIQ. The ticket sales website said that's at least 38% more expensive than any previous Astros ALCS home game.

TicketIQ said the average price ranks 9th highest for ALCS games for any team since they started tracking the data in 2010.
