HOUSTON -- The sister of former Houston Oilers quarterback Warren Moon has filed a lawsuit against a Dallas-based restaurant chain over an incident in which one of her legs was allegedly disfigured.
Patsy Moon filed the lawsuit earlier this month in Harris County court. The suit alleges an employee at a La Madeleine restaurant in Houston spilled a tray on her with scalding soup and coffee that burned her thigh. The lawsuit says she had to visit an emergency room for treatment and that the injury kept her from attending an NFL Hall of Fame event in August with her brother.
Patsy Moon s attorney, Michael Stanley, says his client now has a big spot on her leg that is disfigured.
The Houston Chronicle reports that Harry Martin Jr., vice president and general counsel for La Madeleine, declined to comment.
