WACO -- It's been one year since the deadly biker gang shootout at a Twin Peaks restaurant in Waco.
Nine people were killed and 177 were arrested during the violent 2015 melee between the Bandidos and Cossacks, long-time rivals. Of those, 154 were indicted on charges of engaging in organized crime with the underlying offense of aggravated assault and murder.
Thirty-eight bikers are still waiting to go before a grand jury. Most of the suspects involved are out on bond.
On Tuesday attorneys held a hearing to challenge how the case has been handled.
They filed a motion to have three prosecutors -- McLennan County District Attorney Abel Reyna, First Assistant District Attorney Michael Jarrett and Assistant District Attorney Mark Parker -- be dismissed.
Bikers also rallied Tuesday morning in an effort to stop profiling and discrimination.
