Another Houston-area restaurant is showing support for local law enforcement after the recent shooting that injured five Houston Police officers.
On Friday, Republic BBQ will have its grand opening from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
On Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., all law enforcement officers, and up to three guests (including children), can dine at the restaurant for free.
The offer is extended to all law enforcement departments, local, state and federal. Officers do not need to be in uniform, they will only be asked to show their badge.
The family-friendly restaurant is located inside the Redneck Country Club and offers slow-smoked Texas barbeque.
Officers and guests are also welcome to stay for free and see the Zane Williams concert that will begin around 8 p.m. on Saturday.
