Prosecutors: Woman raped by suspect she met on chat line

A Houston woman said her call to a chat line nearly cost her life. The victim said she agreed to meet a man who identified himself as "Terrance" after talking with him on the chat line called Metro Vibe.

HOUSTON A Houston woman said her call to a chat line nearly cost her life.

The victim said she called the Metro Vibe chat line because she was depressed after breaking up with her boyfriend.

Shechatted with a man who identified himself as Terrance and agreed to meet him in person.

They met at the Crescent at City View apartments in North Houston and talked for a few minutes.

The woman told police she felt uncomfortable and tried to leave. The suspect pulled out a gun and forced her to drive to the back of the complex.Hesexuallyassaulted her, then drove to another complex and assaulted her again, according to court documents.

The suspect then drove to a third complex where he repeatedly raped the woman.

After demanding the pin number for her ATM card, he pushed her down a hill behind the complex, then kicked her into the bayou.

He drove away in her car with her ATM card.

The womanmanaged to get outof the bayou, climb over a barbed wire fence and call for help.

Officers arrested Tyler George about a week later and they say he was still driving the victim s car.

She identified him in a lineup and he was charged with aggravated sexual assault.
