HOUSTON — Vice President Kamala Harris has hit the campaign trail after President Joe Biden announced he was exiting the race and endorsed the VP as the Democratic Party's presidential nominee.

On Monday, Harris walked out to Beyoncé's song "Freedom" blasting through speakers at her first official visit to her campaign headquarters in Wilmington, Delaware.

CNN reports that a source close to them said Harris' team got a stamp of approval from Beyoncé’s representatives to use the song throughout her presidential campaign.

The source said the Grammy-winning singer's reps gave "quick approval" to the Harris campaign when they sought permission to use the song just hours before she walked out at her event, according to CNN.

"Freedom" is a Grammy-nominated track that features rapper Kendrick Lamar. The song debuted on Beyoncé's 2016 album "Lemonade."

Beyoncé has not officially endorsed Harris as a presidential candidate, but her mom, Tina Knowles, took to social media to show support for the VP's presidential bid.

In 2020, Beyoncé encouraged her followers to vote for Biden.
