HOUSTON — Many of Houston’s favorite athletes and some well-known actors are among the 1,200 mourners invited to attend the funeral of George H.W. Bush.

Bush 41 was a big sports fan and he played college baseball at Yale. President Bush and Barbara were often spotted at Astros and Texans games.
Through the years, the Bushes came to know many of Houston’s biggest superstars.
J.J. Watt and his girlfriend, Houston Dash star Kealia Ohai, are among the guests.
Astros Hall-of-Famers Craig Biggio and Jeff Bagwell, former Astros Larry Dierker and Bob Aspromonte, current Astros owner Jim Crane and one-time owner Drayton McLane are there.
We also spotted former Dodgers Manager Tommy LaSorda.
Former Rockets stars in attendance include Yao Ming, Clyde Drexler and Dikembe Mutombo.
Actors Arnold Schwarzenegger, Chuck Norris and Terry Hatcher are in the church, along with local celebrity Mattress Mack.
Many of President Bush's favorite country stars will perform at his service, including The Oak Ridge Boys and Reba McEntire.
Singer Larry Gatlin, who sang at the downtown memorial service Monday night, is also attendance.
