Election results: December 11 runoffs for Houston area

HOUSTON — December 11 was Runoff Election Day.  There were several HISD races from the November ballot that were be decided.

Below are unofficial results from HarrisVotes.com with 46 of 46 voting centers reporting:  

HOUSTON ISD POSITION 1, Trustee, District I

Elizabeth Santos had 2,210 votes (50.47 percent) to Janette Garza Lindner's 2,169 (49.53 percent).

HOUSTON ISD POSITION 5, Trustee, District V

Sue Deigaard had 8,519 votes (63.80 percent) to Carolina Walter's 4,834 (36.20 percent).

HOUSTON ISD POSITION 6, Trustee, District VI

Kendall Baker had 2,685 votes (50.74 percent) to Holly Flynn Vilaseca's 2,607 (49.26 percent).

HOUSTON ISD POSITION 7, Trustee, District VII

Bridget Wade had 6,668 votes (53.79 percent) to Ann Sung's 5,729 (46.21 percent).

HOUSTON COMM COL DIST 8, Trustee, District VIII

Eva Loredo had 2,295 votes (52.78 percent)  to Jharrett Bryantt's 2,053 (47.22 percent).

CITY OF BELLAIRE, Council Member - Position No. 5

Brian Witt had 1,867 votes (52.68 percent)  to Andréa Ehlers' 1,677 (47.32 percent).
