KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — America's largest TV family just got one bigger.
Whitney and Zach Bates of Tennessee's Bringing Up Bates mega-family welcomed a new baby Monday night with the birth of their daughter, Kaci Lynn, at a Knoxville hospital.
The girl, who joins older brother Bradley as the Bates' second child, was born at 10:32 p.m. and weighed 7 pounds, 8 ounces.
The UP Network's Bringing Up Bates is a reality show that focuses on the 19 children of Rocky Top's conservative Gil and Kelly Jo Bates, and their ever-growing number of grandchildren, which now numbers four with the birth of Kaci Lynn.
"We were overcome with emotions that just cannot be described when we saw our little Kaci Lynn and held her in our arms for the first time," Whitney and Zach said in a joint statement.
"Shortly after her birth, Bradley joined us and our hearts melted when he leaned over to give her a kiss."
The next new episode of Bringing Up Bates airs Thursday night.
