HOUSTON -- One man is dead after being run over by a train late Saturday night.
Police say the incident happened around 11:15 p.m. Saturday when a man somehow ended up on railroad tracks at Allen and Roy streets near the Rice Military area. Officials say a train ran over the man and did not stop. The conductor in a second train noticed the body on the tracks and stopped.
Police are investigating whether alcohol was a factor and how the man ended up on the train tracks.
