HOUSTON --A judge sentenced a man who killed and decapitated a deer to 18 months in jail Thursday.
Brandon Gregory, 24, admitted that he stabbed the animal, which was known as Mr. Buck, back in 2008.
Gregory said the stabbing was in self defense. He said the deer charged him after it jumped the fence at Bear Creek's Pioneer's Park.
The deer's head was found in Gregory's freezer.
