Police searching for 2 teens who may be headed to League City after allegedly stealing vehicle, guns in Wyoming

The Lander Police Department in Wyoming told League City police that the teens reportedly made a threat to an unknown school in League City.

LEAGUE CITY, Texas — The League City Police Department is partnering with other law enforcement agencies to find two runaway teenagers who allegedly stole a vehicle and guns from a home in Wyoming on Thursday. 

League City police are involved because they were told the teens may be headed to their area.

The Lander Police Department in Wyoming told League City police that the teens reportedly made a threat to an unknown school in League City. 

"After reviewing the information received, there are no actionable threats to any League City preschools or other schools," League City police said. 

LCPD said it has been working closely with the Galveston County Sheriff's Office, whose deputies are School Liason Officers for the Clear Creek Independent School District. 

"LCPD will continue to work with other agencies in tracking down these juveniles throughout the weekend to ensure the safety of students in schools in League City as the new week approaches," the department said.
