THE WOODLANDS, Texas — Detectives with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office are investigating the death of a man at The Woodlands Mall.
Deputies went to the mall on Lake Woodlands Drive around 9 a.m. in response to a welfare check. They found the victim's body outside of the mall. He was unresponsive and later pronounced dead.
The cause of death is being investigated by detectives with MCSO's Violent Crimes Unit
"Based on the initial findings, this appears to be an isolated incident, and there is no threat to the public," the sheriff's office said in a statement.
The victim's name hasn't been released yet.
