KATY, Texas - A woman was seriously injured in a fire at a nursing home in Katy Wednesday evening.
Firefighters arrived on the scene around 7 p.m. and the fire was put out quickly. The woman was said to be alone outside of the building where the fire started.
She received first, second and third degree burns, officials said.
She was reportedly taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital by Life Flight.
There is currently no word on her condition.
Investigators are still trying to figure out how the fire was started.
