KATY, Texas — A woman is dead following a single-car crash Saturday afternoon in the Katy area.
Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said the crash happened in the 2600 block of North Westgreen Boulevard near Raintree Village Drive behind Morton Ranch Elementary School. Deputies said it appears the woman drove through a barricade and into a ditch. According to deputies, she died at the scene.
