GALVESTON, Texas - People in Galveston aren't giving up on the boy investigators have named 'Little Jacob'.
On Sunday night, dozens gathered for a vigil in his honor. The three-year-old's body was found on the beach in October.
The community wanted to send a message that Little Jacob's story has not faded away and made an effort to bring attention to his case.
Despite an extensive investigation, his real name and cause of death remain a mystery.
Results of an autopsy were released last month and revealed hat the boy had been abused and neglected.
Anyone with information on who the boy may be or what happened to him is asked to call Galveston Police.
