Flight from Houston to Boston diverted due to passenger's 'medical issue'

There were 155 passengers and six crew members on the flight and United said no one needed medical attention once the plane landed.

HOUSTON — A flight from Houston to Boston was diverted Sunday after a passenger experienced a medical issue.

According to United Airlines, the plane was diverted to Washington-Dulles, where it was undergoing a deep clean.

According to United, there were 155 passengers and six crew members on the flight and no one needed medical attention once the plane landed.

United said it was working to get the passengers to their final destinations.

Here's the full statement that United provided:

"United flight UA2477 (Houston - Boston), diverted to Washington-Dulles after a customer experienced a medical issue.  The aircraft is currently undergoing a deep clean and we are working to get customers on their way to Boston soon."
