HOUSTON — UPDATE: The University of Houston reports that the gas leak has been fixed as of 11:30 a.m.

The University of Houston is warning students to avoid an area on campus following a gas line break Wednesday morning.
According to the university’s alert system, a gas line break was reported around 9 a.m. at the intersection of Cougar Village Drive, Cougar Place and Cullen Boulevard.
This is near the south corner of TDECU Stadium.
Emergency crews are on the scene. School officials said there was no timeline for the repairs to be completed.
