TOMBALL, Texas — A Tomball resident has about 3 million reasons to celebrate after winning the lottery.

The resident chose to remain anonymous when claiming the $3 million Mega Millions prize for the drawing on May 24.

The ticket was purchased at Polar Express #3 at 2340 Blalock Road in Houston.

It was a Quick Pick ticket that matched all five white ball numbers -- 46-54-56-67-70 -- but not the Mega Ball number of 16. The Megaplier number was 3.

How to play

Drawings are broadcast each Tuesday and Friday at 10:12 p.m. CT."
