Ed Gonzalez is the new Harris County Sheriff.
Hickman conceded late Tuesday night to Gonzalez. Early voting results showed Gonzalez with a slight lead over Hickman, 52 percent to 48 percent.
With 93 percent of precincts reporting, Gonzalez led Hickman 53 percent to 47 percent.
