AUSTIN, Texas — While there wasn’t a jackpot winner in Monday night’s Powerball drawing, two tickets sold in Texas fetched a cool million dollars apiece.
The numbers for Monday night’s drawing were 11, 27, 30, 33, 44 and a Powerball of 16.
The two million-dollar tickets that were sold in Texas matched five numbers, but missed on the Powerball.
According to the Texas Lottery, one was sold at the Fuel Depot at 1105 13th Street in Hempstead. The other was sold at the Stripes Store at 7602 A Everhart Road in Corpus Christi. Both tickets were quick picks.
There was only one other ticket sold in the U.S. that was worth $1 million. That ticket was sold in Georgia.
As for the jackpot, that rolls over and now the jackpot in the drawing on Wednesday is worth an estimated $154 Million.
