SAN ANTONIO -- One man was killed in an ATV accident near New Berlin Road early Sunday morning, according to Bexar County Sheriff's Officers.
31-year-old Christian Nickel died from blunt force injuries sustained during an ATV accident, according to the Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office.
Two men were were riding ATVs in a field when one of the ATVs rolled over, landing on Nickel's head, officials said. His head was crushed, and, despite CPR attempts, Nickel was pronounced dead on the scene.
The accident happened on the 15600 block of New Berlin Road, in eastern Bexar County.
