SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Family, friends and fans said their final goodbye to Tejano star Emilio Navaira on Monday at the San Fernando Cathedral.
San Fernando can only hold about 500 people, so many arrived early and others were willing to stand throughout the service.
Sunday, for the visitation and rosary at Freeman Coliseum, a line wrapped around the building as fans waited to pay their final respects.
Last week, Navaira's family found him unresponsive inside of his home in New Braunfels.
Navaira is widely credited for introducing Tejano music into the mainstream in the 1990's and is considered one of the biggest Tejano stars of all time.
