Tiny Tim -- the Austin Pets Alive! rescue puppy that, "for the majority of his puppyhood, was kept in a small crate that did not allow his hind legs to grow normally" -- will be able to walk again.
And it's all thanks to the generosity of Austinites.
Last week, the animal shelter said Tiny Tim needed $2,000 in order to get a surgery to help him walk. Tiny Tim is now "feeling the love."
"Thanks to your generosity, we have raised ALL the funds needed for Tiny Tim's surgery and even enough to cover any complications," APA said on their website.
His surgery is scheduled for Jan. 6. You can sign up here to receive weekly updates on Tiny Tim.
