AUSTIN, Texas — The Texas Supreme Court will hear arguments on Tuesday regarding a case involving women who say they've been denied abortion rights, despite serious pregnancy complications.
In some cases, the women said they nearly died.
The lawsuit was filed by Center for Reproductive Rights. It claims the state's abortion ban violates women’s rights under the Texas Constitution.
The court will decide whether to block it.
As it stands, the law bans abortions after six weeks of pregnancy with few exceptions.
