BRAZORIA COUNTY, Texas-- People in Brazoria County rushed to help a beached whale Thursday night.
A 15-foot minke whale was found beached on Surfside Beach.. People gathered to help push the whale back into the water.
The Texas Marine Mammal Stranding Network said the whale could be sick and may beach again. The MMSN saidpeople who come across beached animals should call 1-800-9MAMMAL, this way a vet can look over the mammal before putting it back in the water.
