HOUSTON — One person is in custody after a shooting at a home near Prairie View A&M University Saturday morning, according to police.
It happened just before 11 a.m. at an off-campus home on Dooley Street near University Drive.
Police said three friends got into an argument and one person pulled out a gun and fired once. That bullet struck another person in the leg.
None of the three people involved were Prairie View A&M students, according to police.
The shooting victim was flown to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
