Here is what you need to know about parking, transportation, bag policy, and prohibited items at Shell Energy Stadium.

HOUSTON — With Vice President Kamala Harris in Houston for a campaign rally expected to be at Shell Energy Stadium, here is what you need to know before you go.

Although the details of the Harris rally haven't been revealed by her campaign, Houston's downtown district emailed an advisory on Thursday afternoon on behalf of the Houston Police Department. The advisory said the rally will be held at Shell Energy Stadium -- just east of downtown.

Shell Energy Stadium is home to the Houston Dynamo FC and Houston Dash men’s and women’s soccer teams. The facility is located at 2200 Texas Avenue near Emancipation Avenue just southeast of the Eastex Freeway in downtown Houston.

While there is parking available for the stadium, guests are encouraged to consider carpooling, taking public transit, walking, or biking to help avoid traffic.
