HOUSTON — You can never be too prepared. September is National Preparedness Month, and the American Red Cross Texas Gulf Coast Region is giving away five deluxe emergency preparedness kits.
The bags include a first aid kit, gallon container for water, emergency blanket, radio combined with flashlight along with several other important items. And as another bonus, winners will also receive an Astros, Dynamo or Texans shirt or hat.
Just go to the American Red Cross Texas Gulf Coast Facebook page, look for the giveaway post and follow instructions on how to enter.
The deadline to register is September 30 at midnight. The Red Cross will announce the five winners on Monday, Oct. 7.
