SAN ANTONIO — Police in Olmos Park, a small Bexar County community north of downtown San Antonio, are looking for a 51-year-old woman who hasn't been seen since Sunday night.
According to authorities, Suzanne Clark Simpson disappeared at about 11 p.m. Sunday from the 500 block of East Olmos, less than a mile from Trinity University. She was last seen wearing a long black dress and black heels.
A large search effort could be seen in the area near Simpson's home Tuesday night, where Olmos Park police were being helped by state police.
“Basically, we’re looking for anything," said DPS Sgt. Deon Cockrell. "As long as she’s missing, we’ll continue to search for her in any possible area where she may be missing or possibly located.”
Cockrell said the search effort could last through Tuesday night and was expected to widen its radius after starting near Simpson's home. Asked if authorities believed foul play was involved, Cockrell said only that "at this time, she's just a missing person."
"We want to cover ground as much and as fast as we can so nothing gets cold or if she is injured or something, that we can get to her before she’s incapacitated," he added. "Or, worst case, somewhat further away."
Kendall County says they booked Simpson's husband, 53-year-old Brad Simpson, early Wednesday morning on charges of assault causing bodily injury-family violence and unlawful restraint. They have not connected him to her disappearance.

Simpson is listed online as a real estate agent with Nix Realty. The biography page says she is a graduate of the University of Texas and a "lifelong resident of San Antonio." The page also indicates she is married with three children.
