PEARLAND, Texas- Residents in Pearland who have been living with smelly tap water are finally getting some action from the City.
Neighbors in Canterbury Park told us last month they were frustrated because the City wouldn't answer their questions about why their water had such a foul odor.
“The water smells like someone farts in your face every morning and every night,” said Kortney Rodriguez, a homeowner.
The good news is the city now says it will spend a couple of days cleaning out the water lines starting Dec 19.
Unfortunately, this means some homes will be without running water from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m when crews finish the project.
The city left flyers on the affected homes.
