HOUSTON––KHOU 11 has teamed up with the Houston Public Library for the first KHOU 11 Book Drive, benefiting the educational programs of Houston-area Neighborhood Centers. From now through Oct. 25, the public can donate new or gently used children's books at any participating Houston Public Library location.
Neighborhood Centersbrings resources, education and connection to more than 528,000 people throughout Texas each year. For more than a century, Neighborhood Centers has offered innovative solutions to help low-income families in emerging neighborhoods become productive, prosperous, and self-sufficient. Neighborhood Centers are located throughout the entire Houston area and donations to the KHOU 11 Book Drive will ensure children in years to come can experience the joy of reading.
