BACLIFF -- Authorities have released the name of the man who was found dead and wrapped in plastic in a Bacliff trailer home.
Erik Enrique Calvillo, 26, of San Leon, died of blunt-force trauma and stab wounds to the head during a confrontation with a woman he dated and her boyfriend, said Maj. Ray Tuttoilmondo, a spokesman for the Galveston County Sheriff s Office.
Galveston County officials arrested the man and woman on Sunday after Cavillo s body was found.
Officials said there were signs that an attempt had been made to clean up the scene.
The suspects are 26-year-old Samantha Escobedo-Resendez and 31-year-old German Perez-Velasquez.
They ve been charged with tampering with evidence.
