HOUSTON — The roof of NRG Stadium was heavily damaged by Hurricane Beryl and it won't be repaired for weeks.
But, the Zach Bryan concert will go on as planned on Saturday.
There are, however, things fans need to know before they go.
It's the latest twist in the Beryl tale after strong winds peeled off several roof panels -- leaving open air above the seats below.
"There were several panels that were damaged. These things are not on your local shelves," Texans owner and CEO Cal McNair said. "Hopefully we'll get them a month or two into the season."
NRG posted on social media warning fans to be prepared for rain at the concert.
So, the bottom line is fans need to be ready with rain gear but remember, you can't bring umbrellas into the stadium since they could block the view of others.
