HOUSTON A middle school in the Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District was evacuated Wednesday after a fire broke out in the industrial technology area, school officials said.
It happened around noon at Thornton Middle School located at 19802 Kieth Harrow Blvd in Katy.
All students and staff were safely relocated to Cypress Lakes High School due to the air quality in the building.
No injuries were reported.
There was no word on what started the fire.
