The principal at Seven Lakes Junior High School says the students responsible for a social media threat have been identified and will be disciplined.
In a letter to parents Friday, Principal Imelda Medrano said the threat was made against the school on Thursday.
Administrators and Katy ISD Police immediately investigated.
“Students and staff were not in danger at any time, and classroom instruction was not impacted,” stated Medrano. “At SLJH, safety is our highest priority, and we take all reports of threats seriously. We’d like to take this opportunity to urge you to talk to your child about the importance of reporting any threats he/she sees or hears to an administrator immediately.”
