HOUSTON — The Houston-area cemetery where Megan Thee Stallion's mom is buried has increased security after Nicki Minaj fans posted the cemetery's address to social media.
The cemetery said it takes safety and security very seriously, and the police have been notified.
The address to the cemetery was released after Megan Thee Stallion released her latest single "Hiss" on Friday.
Nicki Minaj suspected one of the lyrics in the song refers to her husband. This song irritated Minaj and her fans, prompting some of them to release the address to Megan Thee Stallion's mom's burial site.
KHOU 11 News has chosen not to name the cemetery.
“We have notified our local authorities and increased security personnel at the cemetery," the cemetery said in a statement. "We will continue to monitor the situation, as we take safety and security very seriously.”
Megan Thee Stallion's mom, Holly Thomas, died in March 2019 from brain cancer, according to PEOPLE Magazine.
