MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas — A married couple was found dead Tuesday at a home in Conroe in an apparent murder-suicide, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office.
The sheriff's office identified the two as 76-year-old Maria Paragios and 74-year-old Ilias Karmanolis. They said it appears as though Paragios was the victim.
Police said they found the two in a state of decomposition during a welfare check at a home on Spindle Oaks Drive, which is east of the North Freeway.
Police said the couple had not been heard from in at least a couple of days. An autopsy is needed to determine how long the couple has been dead and their cause of death.
