GALVESTON, Texas - Moody Gardens Ice Land is now open. The theme? A Caribbean Christmas.
Special carvers from China spent weeks carving 2 million pounds of ice to create the sculptures. Every inch of a giant tent is filled with majestic works of art inside the 28,000 square foot structure in the Moody Gardens parking lot.
For the first time, there will be a functioning Shivers Ice Bar, which will serve up frosty beverages for adults.
Tickets are $27 for adults and $16 for children. The price includes parka usage.
