The HPD dive team is working to recover a body from the San Jacinto River.
The Lake Houston Patrol is also assisting in the recovery.
The victim was spotted in the river around 10:15 a.m. Friday.
Homicide detectives are on the scene in the 200 block of Hamblen Road.
