He's a murder suspect who has been on the run for more than a decade. Prosecutors with the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office say Glen Holmes is responsible for a 2006 murder outside a Conroe gas station.
Now the Gulf Coast Violent Offenders & Fugitives Task Force needs your help to track him down.
U.S. Marshals are on the move, looking for clues. They believe their cases are solved, and they have arrest warrants in hand. Their goal now is to find the bad guys.
Right now, they're zeroing in on Holmes. A man who in 2006 led Conroe Police on a high-speed chase. However, that's not why they want him. He's wanted the murder of Barry Thomas, 32.
"That's my cousin. He's like my brother. I never had a brother, so he was my brother," said Nathaniel Broussard, Thomas's cousin.
From his barber shop in southwest Houston, Broussard says what hurts the most is what Thomas was killed for: his car.
"You took my cousin's life like it was nothing, 'cause you wanted a ride to go somewhere else?" Broussard said.
That night, Thomas made a late-night run for shrimp quesadillas and stopped at a Taco Cabana. The woman he was with never talked until now. She walked away that night unharmed and still remembers the whole thing.
"He opened my door to get out of the car, he put the gun to my head and said, 'You think I'm playing? I will shoot her.' Barry was like no, he put his hands up," said Nikki Hubbard, Thomas' former girlfriend.
Investigators say Holmes shot and killed Thomas, took off in his car, and then went through the drive-thru demanding two tacos.
The trail led U.S. Marshals from Oklahoma to Louisiana.
"We've even got tips to where he's assumed the identity of a woman make-up, wig, bra, dress, so he's gone to an extreme length to stay out of jail," said Deputy U.S. Marshal Alfredo Perez.
However, the most frustrating part of the case for investigators and the family is police put Holmes in jail twice. Each time he posted bond and never showed up for his court date.
"Oh they dropped the ball, it's been 12 years, you tell me if they dropped the ball," Broussard said.
This family believes Holmes can only go so long before slipping up.
"I hope that he goes to prison. I don't want him to get killed. I don't want him to die. That's too easy. I want him to get caught and serve in prison the rest of his life and suffer," Broussard said.
There's a $5,000 dollar reward for info leading to Holmes' arrest. He's not the only guy the marshals want your help with.
Jared Langley is also on the run and one of Houston's most wanted gang fugitives. Langley is a member of the Aryan Brotherhood and wanted on several warrants.
