HOUSTON — Houston firefighters rescued two people who were trapped in a trench between apartment complexes near the Texas Medical Center on Thursday.
The rescue took place along Buffalo Speedway south of Holcombe. According to the Houston Fire Department, the trench was around 10 feet deep. One of the two people was taken to the hospital. At this point, we don't know that person's condition.
At this point, we don't know how the two people became trapped in the trench or why it was there.
