HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — A child on a bicycle was hit by an SUV in the area of Mandolin Village in northwest Harris County, according to Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman.
Precinct 4 posted about the crash just after 7 a.m. It happened on Grant Road near Canyon Rose Lane just west of Highway 249.
Deputies said the driver of a white Ford SUV hit the child as they were riding their bicycle. EMS is now on the scene evaluating the child. The child's condition was not released.
No word on whether the driver stayed at the scene.
