HOUSTON — A man is dead after he was hit by a car on I-45 near Little York Road Sunday morning, according to the Houston Police Department.
The crash shut down all northbound lanes on the freeway for several hours.
Police said the car did not stop and they don't have a description of the vehicle. It's unclear why the man was trying to cross the freeway, but HPD said an investigation is underway.
