HOUSTON — Two firefighters were injured while battling a house fire in northwest Houston Friday afternoon.
The home is on Cindy Lane near TC Jester and Ella in the Timbergrove neighborhood. The call came in at 4:36 p.m.
Air 11 showed heavy smoke coming from the home and dozens of firefighters working to put out the flames.
The two firefighters were with station 38. One firefighter had burns on their hands. Another had an injury to their left knee. The cause of the fire and extent of the damage was not immediately known.
